In the "Legal Law Suit" page you can view the Law Suit John Paul Freie and his sister, Sue Freie of Fry's Services, have filed against me to shut me up
while they continue to work you truckers and not pay you properly or on time.
Support Documentation for our Industry coming from the Alaska Department of Labor in an effort to show support. For over 20 years now the
Alaska Department of Labor has shown this level of support to the Alaska labor world. We would have been better off without them or maybe with
personnel that gets out of their office and is more balanced in enforcing the established rules and regulations and laws between contractors and
dirt truckers world of labor.
Think about it, if there is so much wrong in the dirt trucking world, what is going on in the other labor disciplines?
This letter came from Grey Mitchell, Alaska Director of Labor, Standards and Safety, to Del Baldwin answering a request for help in our industry. It is my
opinion, as I read this letter, that Grey Mitchell is not willing to help the Alaska Earth Hauling World. He is against the enforcement of the rules, regulations
and laws he has had a hand in writing over the last 20 plus years. Read the letter and write me with your thoughts of
his written word. This is why most all his department will not put things in writing. His leadership is very much
in question to anyone who is in construction.
It seems to me Mr. Mitchell has the opinion that you earth haulers will not help yourselves and therefore
he will not put forward a reasonable amount of effort help you. It is lack of respect for the industries
(people) he oversees.
On April 23, 2009 this letter was sent by the Employment Security Tax Office overseen by the Alaska Department of Labor Commissioner, Click Bishop.
This letter was sent to 400 dirt industry companies in an effort to educate and lead. However, it has been less than effective. For 20 years a less
than effective letter was sent to the industry and there was little headway and the rules and regulations and
laws were not obeyed or enforced in the
State of Alaska. They are still being ignored!
2009 Alaska earth haulers should stand up and be counted. "Earth Haulers Group" is the best way to do that.
We are abused everyday and need leadership to start living a good life. The oldest and largest trucking subcontractors (brokers) are actively
supporting the change I seek. It is not easy to stand up because there is always the Freie's and the Green's out there wanting to knock you down!
Together we can beat them, individually we cannot!
It is truly believed by the owner of this site that an earth hauling trucker is a good person who deserves information that they might be
better informed so they can do the best job possible for the industry.
Communication is offered here with the 4,000 truck licensee's in the state of Alaska to discuss and learn about a better way of doing business within
the earth and snow hauling community in Alaska. We hope the Excavating Contractors of Alaska will also benefit from this site as they too need a better
way of doing business associated with trucks.
